Dr. Sharona Yashar graduated from the UCLA School of Medicine, and completed both a dermatology residency program and dermatopathology fellowship at UCLA. In addition to being a Board Certified Dermatologist, she holds a sub-specialty Board Certification in Dermatopathology, the practice of diagnosing skin biopsies under the microscope.
In addition to her private practice, Dr. Yashar is also the Site Director for the UCLA Dermatology Residency program at the UCLA-Olive View Medical Center, supervising and teaching UCLA residents and medical students. She is also the Director of Dermatopathology for the LA County - Olive View Medical Center.
Dr. Yashar is an expert consultant for Neutrogena, and has helped with the development and implentation of the state of the art acne skin line called SkinID.
